The final mile

I don't run. End of. Pack of zombies after me? Not running.

It is therefore a good thing to know others can. SmileyCharlie can, back from Sweden, Finland, Russia and Estonia and soon to hit London*, Spain and Berlin before then returning to Manchester for year four. She can run a half marathon in a couple of minutes over two hours, crossing the old Severn Bridge twice! (*what do you mean London isn't a different country? Have you been there?!) Not bad for her first official half marathon. We old pedestrians just sauntered over the bridge and back again while we waited, and watched a cycle race go over the bridge in the other direction. And it's not even lunchtime yet...
