Ding Ding

Went shopping in Romford today.
Intended to buy a Newspaper and some fruit - and came back with a London Routemaster Bus garden furniture!

I love the old Routemaster.
I went to and from School everyday on one, and every other Saturday would get on one to visit my Nan and Granddad in Canning Town then on to West Ham for the football.
It's one of those iconic London things recognised throughout the world.
It's sad that apart from one route and a few being used for publicity purposes that these have all but disappeared from public view.

Still - In one small corner of my garden, a piece of London History remains
