"Battery Point Lighthouse" - Crescent City Harbor, CA

Constructed in 1856. What a gem. We are staying with friends in Crescent City a couple nights and took a walk to the ocean (Pacific, that is) just a block away. They haven't seen rain forever here, and tonight the well needed winds and rain  came. Felt a bit like home which is not immune to inclement weather. 

I must admit, the welcoming beer tasted mighty fine.
