Grey Dagger

Today , whilst walking from the train to my parents' house I noticed this colourful caterpillar on the roadside hedge. I haven't ever noticed one like this before. 

A bit of research on the newly designed Google told me it is a Grey Dagger Moth caterpillar . Whilst quite eye-catching, the moth is nowhere near as pretty as the caterpillar!

A weird thing - the photo looks so much better on my computer than it does on Blip! Why is that I wonder!
