Wound up in Wexford

Dudley tunnel

We have spent the day at the Black Country Living Museum - a relatively lazy day.  This cannot be said about the lads employed by our boat hire firm, however.

Yesterday we developed a problem with the toilet on our boat, and when I rang to report it this morning, there were complications regarding them coming out to sort it.  In the end, two of them have spent several hours removing, dismantling (to see if they could mend it) and then replacing the original toilet with a temporary Portapotti (hopefully to be replaced again when we reach Great Haywood).

They did, however, manage to sort out our wifi (by the simple expedient of switching it off and then on again!)

The above problems meant we had a later start than we intended.  We had a trip on an electric boat into the Dudley Tunnel.  We heard snatches of what I believe was an interesting and amusing commentary.  Annoyingly, there were large numbers of kids on our boat who were not very quiet, and accompanied by parents more interested in their social lives than the commentary - resulting in far too much background noise.

We then went up into the BCLM, and enjoyed some fish and chips, and looking into houses and a school recreating life in the 19th Century.  Just for bivbov I have posted a pillar box as an extra.
