Dawn in East Hampton USA

A five hours time difference (behind UK) left me
in no danger of sleeping in ! Sleeping at all after
4 30 am is the problem which I seem to share with
the wild life here! Their equivalent of raiding the
fridge is to raid the gardens for tasty titbits - indeed
an article in this week's East Hampton Gazette -
suggests that a new way of dealing with the over-
population of the deer population is to shoot
contraceptive darts at the females. We are naturally
assured that the drug does not affect the quality of the
venison - or shall we say it's safety for human consumption!
No details of trials of the venison were provided ! After you
