Hersonnisos Harbour

After breakfast we took a drive along the coast road. On the way back we stopped off at Hersonnisos Harbour which is about a mile and a half from our hotel. We can see it from our patio as the village of Koutouloufari where we are staying is perched on the hillside. It is a lovely Cretan village and much nicer than Hersonnisos.

At the harbour I saw the two young lads in the blip photo, fishing. They were obviously enjoying themselves. Fishing is something you see a lot of here and it is a skill that they'll use for many years.

This evening we walked into Koutouloufari and paid for the shopping Mrs BB did last night. We were in the shop for an hour talking to the owners who are lovely people. They have advised us where to go in our car tomorrow, and to visit Spinalonga Island on Saturday.
