Sharp, Spiky and Stunning

The White Bird of Paradise is just as pretty, in my opinion, as the bright orange Bird of Paradise. As I was watering the plants on our patio this afternoon,  I noticed  how perfectly this one bloom was framed with it's leaves as a border and the bright blue sky as the background.  I was grateful for the quiet moment of tranquility to enjoy the beauty of the day.

It was a busy day getting ready to go visit our son and his family.  We are very excited to see them and to celebrate our Grandson's second birthday.  It is hard to believe that he will be two years old.  I know he will be the subject of my blips for the next several days!
