Perspective

Water is essential for life. A person can live more than a month without food, but only about a week, depending upon conditions without water. Yet only one in nine people worldwide do not have access to safe and clean drinking water. As I thought about the 1001 blip challenge for Water on Wednesday, I realized I am never far from a glass or bottle of water. I am blessed to live in a country that has clean water and plentiful water. I am also ashamed of the countless plastic water bottles that I use, even if I do recycle, that are polluting this planet. With very little effort, I hope to change that. If you haven't figured it out, this photo is of the inside of my plastic water bottle.
