Crane dismantling

One of the huge cranes on campus was dismantled today - caused quite a bit of chaos as they re routed traffic and pedestrians to keep everyone out of harm's way. All went well though - shame the same couldn't be said for the crane's journey home! A lorry with one of the big crane sections on its back hit a railway bridge as it headed to the motorway, closing the Exeter to Exmouth line for a bit as they checked the bridge was okay! Luckily it was fine;, but the crane bit looked a bit mangled!

As expected Leo had a disturbed night so I ended up sleeping with him in order to get him settled back each time he woke up. Then he had a great first day at school so all the worry was for nothing - little worry wart! The best thing was that they had no lessons, and the worst was that they had leek crumble for lunch!
