Day 3 of our Weston Park Odyssey

We started out a little later this morning arriving at the hospital at around 9.45am.  This time we joined a queue of traffic waiting to get into the car-park that was about a dozen cars long and which was spilling back out onto the main road.  Ann left to go into the hospital and I decided to go and park up the road at Broomhill - about a ten minute walk away.  My photo was taken from the roof car-park when i returned.  I'm used to being one of the cars down there on the road!  By the time I got back to the hospital Ann was still in the waiting room - she must have been an hour and a half waiting before it was her turn.  We're told that a mixture of the Monday Bank holiday and the extra demand for treatment has been putting them under a lot of pressure.  They are actually going to start treating people on a Saturday starting tomorrow.  Fortunately Ann;s treatment went well (the latest chemical can be tricky for some people) and we were away from the hospital by 1.30pm.  We felt rather like kids who'd been let out of school early and had the rest of the afternoon to do as we pleased :)
