Partaking near the Parterre

We visited Hanbury Hall this afternoon. We had a good couple of hours walking around the parkland before we went to the more formal gardens and of course the tea room.
We sat outside first of all, but my drink was blueberry and apple juice and seemed to attract about a million wasps. I think the reason that there were so many was that by this time (almost 5 pm), we were the only people eating or drinking, so we had a concentration of them. We therefore made a sharp exit indoors.
This was the view over the stunning parterre, which is beautiful at any time of the year.
