Deep in the Raspberries

The raspberries canes are just off the edge of our garden, and this year they are up to 2 meters high.
We hadn't planned to pick raspberries when we went out to hang up the washing but we saw a couple of lovely big berries and went over to pick them. Once we got started we saw more and more and I was drawn deeper and deeper into canes.
As we emerged Anders arrived. He'd been cycling past and decided to drop in and see if we were home.
The berries provided Jan and I with breakfast and Anders with lunch. Then three bags into the freezer.
Later we drove to Sundsvall for dinner with L and R and some other friends.  A Tuscan themed dinner after L & R's trip there. Lovely food, wine and company!   A great (late) summer's day!
