Senko Hanabi

Senko Hanabi is a type of firework.  It's like a glowing ball of plasma on the end of a twist of tissue paper.  It doesn't go bang or kaboom or even pop.  It is though rather pleasing to watch though and fun to see how long you can keep it going before the end drops off.

Fireworks are a summer thing over here.  I caught the exact moment that the plasma ball dropped from from her senko hanabi and it kind of felt like it symbolized the end of summer.   They have been back at school for a week already though.
