Lunchtime Mantis

I guess there are two of them really so its tenuously linked to yesterday's photo.

Nipped out for lunch with the missus and baby while fancy pants was at kindergarten. This mantis was stuck to the window in our eatery of choice. I didn't know they could stick to sheer surfaces like this though a lot of insects can. Doesn't look like such an amazing achievement now I've rotated the shot from head down to head right but I thought it looked more interesting like this. Didn't have the macro lens with me so it ended up being not quite as super close as I normally try to do with bugs.
