New Railway Bridge, Dundee

Had an invite to the ‘New Work from Old Fellows’ photographic exhibition at the Discovery Point Cafe Gallery in Dundee today.  The Cafe was thronging with tourists – all very happy.  And why not!  -  the food is good, and the exhibition magnificent.  It is a miscellany of very creative photographic images. The exhibitors, Neil Scott and Stan Farrow, are both Fellows of the Royal Photographic Society – hence the title of the exhibition I suppose.  Wonderful images  -  we were entranced!  Against every image is a short explanation about how it was composed and decided upon as an exhibit  -  sounded like a Blipper’s write-up lol!  It is open until the 8th October – well worth a visit.  If you want to buy, each print is £50 and £5 postage if you want it sent by mail.  You can experience some of their work online  -  they both have websites – just google their name.  I didn’t think I should blip any of their images, so I have blipped the new railway bridge that just opened yesterday. The town end of it is shaped like the prow of a ship – a ship coming into harbour – and that is my extra. You will notice a difference in the clouds – the prow one was taken facing South and the bridge was taken facing North!  Have a nice weekend, everyoneJ
