A quiet day... Today’s excitement was the arrival of a birthday card for me, posted first class on….. 3rd August! Not as you may think from outer Siberia, or some remote Pacific Island, but from Dorset!! Funnily enough, in the same post I received financial compensation for a parcel that I posted to Albania, which then subsequently disappeared into the ether. The postal service sure ain’t what it used to be…
