Applelicious!!

A short autumnal walk to the bank this morning. En route I passed this apple tree that is heavily laden with juicy fruit. Sadly I don't have anywhere to grow fruit or veg of my own, but I do have plenty of friends that do, and over the last few weeks I've received gifts of rhubarb, blackcurrants, potatoes, onions, carrots, peppers, beetroot and only yesterday apples! So there have been plenty of delicious crumbles and soups on the menu, and the jam making pan has been out again!!

It's been one of those days that just seemed to disappear! Mundane jobs have taken up most of the day but I did manage to find half an hour and a sunny corner in the garden to enjoy my book...
