Helped

Another Uganda backblip whilst I'm trying to decide which dawn photo to post....... :)

This lovely lady is one of the mothers in the Namatala slum who have been helped to set up a mini enterprise. She sifts broken rice into different grades to sell, in order to support her family. I had the privilege of praying for her - for her business but also for her finger which she had hurt and she was having trouble moving it. Afterwards, she declared it better and demonstrated that she could move it freely! :)) There were many answers to prayer like this during our stay in Uganda!

I visited a number of mothers who had set up small businesses with the help of Child of Hope - sewing, selling charcoal, making bricks, etc, talking to them and praying with them. They told how it had made such a difference to their lives!

You can read more about how Child of Hope helps mothers to start up small businesses here!

If you've just come across my journal, and you'd like to see more like this, my Ugandan adventure started here. One more back blip to go......
