Grass Hopper on White Wall

It seems this fellow found a nice spot to snooze on my garage wall in the middle of the night.
The early morning sunshine found him still fast asleep for all the world to see.
I can't help but wonder if a similar lapse of judgement caused the loss of his hind leg.
