Green Dragon

You know having a proper telephoto lens is like learning a new skill - I spent ages standing trying to capture this southern hawker in flight and once I did it was such a thrill - I have never had a lens to get near it, always turned into green and blue blobs - although I had to manual focus for this, as the dragonfly kept flying up and checking me out!  But I truly am amazed I got a shot like this - this lens and me were meant to be!  (yeah, it's the 100-400mm L II Canon - stunner of a lens!) :) xxx
