Kelsey & Cal

Today is our daughter Kelsey's last day in the United States as she departs for graduate school in Scotland this evening. She wanted to see the Pacific Ocean one last time before being surrounded by the Atlantic for the coming year. It was a picture perfect day, one of which we took full advantage on the beaches of Santa Monica (after first spending a couple of hours outlet mall shopping). A very emotional farewell, at least for Kelsey's parents, followed an extremely enjoyable day of being together - just like the old days before our darling daughter became a world traveler and international student.
