Windy weather

This photo doesn't really show the windy weather apart from the fact that the sea isn't calm. It was taken from the boat trip we took. We should have visited a monastery on an isolated island and ventured into the remote zone of the Marine Park where the endangered Monk Seals live. Unfortunately the winds were too high and after rolling up and down for several minutes we retreated back into calmer waters. I'm glad I took the travel pills. We then took our time travelling along the coast of Alonnisos and the adjacent island Peristera with several stops for swimming.

This photo is fairly typical of the island which has numerous bays and coves projecting into the sea.
