MMA Champ - Holly Holmes

An interesting experience in Albuquerque this morning.  We were invited to watch MMA training at the Jackson Wink MMA Training Academy.  We are not fans of MMA as a general rule, but it was interesting to watch, especially as their star competitor, Holly Holme is coming down to Australia in November for a title fight against the reighning Bantam Weight champion, Ronda Rousey.  In the image Holly is the blonde on the right.  The other girl is her training partner.  Each round is 5 minutes, an incredibly long time.  These girls are super fit.

Holly Holm is an American mixed martial artist who competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship bantamweight division. She is the #8 fighter in the world according to ufc rankings. Holm is also a former professional boxer and kick-boxer.
