I See You...

It was a wet day and while hanging over the end of the deck trying for a desperation blip of sparrows feeding, I became aware of a movement close by. I slowly shuffled around until I could see this little wax eye feasting on an apple less than a metre away.  The only shot possible  without disturbing the bird was through a narrow gap between a pole and a drain pipe - just had to crop a bit of blurring off each side. The bird was very aware I was there but a bit confused by the poles between us. He was mid-munch with apple still in his beak.
