Somerset Cottage

Blipmate and I drove along country roads to Somerset Cottage this morning. It is an original cottage built by early setters to this area, and has been restored carefully. The rooms  have been furnished to the period and models dressed in period costume are posed doing their everyday activities of that time. The first impression is of how little space the settlers had in their homes, to perform their chores and raise their often large families.

It was a glorious day too.
