Kentish Plover

The Wadi near me has returned very quickly to being a bird paradise after being rearranged, suffering from the rains and the subsequent flooding last weekend. I did go out on the boat and not only saw one Osprey but a pair, but my photographs are rubbish! I'll try again until I get something really good. Saw this gorgeous little Kentish Plover with his strong ginger coloured  feathers and those huge eyes. He is an absolutely beautiful tiny little Plover and seems to like the new flooded sandy Wadi.
