Black-winged Stilt

I was reading about the Black Winged Stilt  and read that they fly with their long pink legs outstretched behind them, often crossed and as you can see it's true! You can also see a very greeny sheen to those sharp wings. There are plenty of these very elegant birds in Oman at the moment.
