Red balloons

Today we started up our ladies bible study for the autumn, we're studying about JOY and how to have joy through life's struggles and hardships. One of the props for the opening lesson was giving out red balloons, so I bought these last night but sadly the helium didn't do its thing and when I woke up in the morning they were on the floor, sad story!

But I was still joyful that the ladies still took them to brighten up their homes (for a little while anyway).

Our usual bible study leader, Merrilee, is away on sabbatical and has entrusted the leading to my friend Minna and me!!

I have also been very mindful of the events of 14 yrs ago when the world changed forever .... terror took on a whole new meaning. A solemn day indeed.
