Goosle Fledglings (Play-)Fighting

More decisive a strike in large.
Back blip

I arrived back from holiday in the middle of the day, so managed to see the Goosles in the middle of the afternoon! What an eventful visit: Mr. was chasing his offspring (they're too big for his liking), the goslings fledglings flew across the pond (clear of the water), and the fledglings did hysterical play-fighting (sequence right from here) for the prime spot on top of the pond's overflow drainage island (until Mr. broke it up by showing his dominance and taking the spot for himself).

It was wonderful to see them, and amazing to see how much they've developed since I last saw them... Two of the three are pretty much as big as Mrs. (although more slender) and even the most little one has started developing eye spots.

Sorting through my holiday pictures is going to be a bit of a task, but I'll try to back blip them over the weekend.

I've uploaded a new album for Goosle Fledglings
Highlights:
Taking flight
Mr. showing the fledgling that he is boss (and click right)
Fledgling preening (its plumage and pride)
