Spotted Deer in Wilpattu National Park

Spotted deer are truly a blissful sight to witness. They're constantly on the lookout for danger, even when they're eating or drinking. One scans the area while the others drink water from the lake or when they feed on the grass. To spend time in constant fear of death is a very sad way to live for these animals but that's the order of nature.

There're many herds of spotted dear in the Wilpattu national park.
