Burnley Parish Church of St. Peter.

Being National Heritage Weekend Mr MD and I paid a visit to Burnley Parish Church of St.Peter;  a beautiful church founded in 1122.  This picture looks into the chancel and shows the lovely paintwork and gilding and the very impressive East window.  Altogether a gem of a church and well worth a visit.
