Burnley Parish Church

With it being National Heritage Weekend, Me & Mrs MD (aka BezziePet) visited Burnley Parish Church (St. Peter's).  What an incredible church.  Quite large and really well looked after.  This is the exterior, and you may notice the weather vane on the tower roof.  In extras you will see a close up - because someone suggested the views from the top would be worth the climb.  It was a very narrow and very steep spiral staircase.  I have no idea how many steps there were - but there were far too many.  Just as bad coming back down  ...  my legs have yet to recover :-(
