The Inquisitive Dragonfly

Had a lovely walk today around College Lake near Tring with my friend T. Showers were in the area, but we luckily missed them and the sun shone brightly.  

Saw this dragonfly on a wooden map of the area, seemingly checking up on where he was.  I'm not good at identifying them, looking on-line it had a look of a Common Darter, but perhaps one of you could help me out on identifying it.
