Zubizuri

The fourth of seven backblips...it's wearing me down.

Zubizuri means "white bridge" in Basque. Pretty accurate description, I would say.... I love the way it floats in the air. Another glorious piece of design in a city where even the commonplace has been designed. Even the metro system was designed by Norman Foster, and features not only minimalist and functional concrete stations but also caterpiller like station entrances.

On the way back, I snapped the hotel with its funky coloured windows.

Later a busy day at the conference interface. Afterwards, I wandered along the river to the Maritime Museum where the final conference reception was held. And then Mr A and I made yet another quick visit to our favourite cafe, this time just for a couple of tapa. Oh, and used the wee tram that runs down the left bank of the Nervion.
