Menorca - Day 14: Na Macaret

Back blip

We walked across the headland from Punta Grossa to Na Macaret. The sea was up, and the beach at Na Macaret is sheltered so seemed like a good place to go for a swim... It made for a good walk: it wasn't very far, but we saw a pretty sea arch, got close to crashing waves, explored the rockpools on the headland beyond Na Macaret. I was tempted to put up this Na Macaret panorama, but stuck with normal format this time.

In the early evening, we visited the Subaida dairy farm to look around and taste their Mahon (D.O.P.) cheese. They have a variety of animals there (besides cows and calves), including goats, farm cats, and lots of plants that attract hummingbird hawk-moths. It was interesting to see the farm buildings and to see cows being milked. It is a prosperous-feeling farm, and also has a good view of Monte Toro.
I was very tempted to blip a hummingbird hawk-moth (this one or this one)...
