Noisy meal

Sister J and I went to Guildford today to view an embroidery exhibition. There was a series of Magna Carta embroideries plus a display of brilliant stumpwork, immaculate raised embroidery which is at the same time inspiring but also so beautifully done that one could never aspire to it.
We browsed in the shops and agreed that to shop in Guildford we would need to be young, slim and rich! Not categories we fit into.
We lunched at Wagamama's, a favourite of mine. It is very alive and full of noise, full of young people, such a treat.
In the afternoon we visited a craft gallery and then wandered back through the Surrey lanes.
