In Memory Of Whiskers

It is with a broken heart and heavy tears that I have to tell you all my Blip followers that today we had to put our sweet Whiskers to sleep. She was not pregnant after all but was seriously sick. We had an appt. set up for Mr. Wiggles and to keep the stress levels down we found a vet on wheels who came to the home. He charged an extra $25 to see additional pets while at the home. We had him check Whiskers belly and to give her an overall check up but come to find out she had a cat virus that's deadly and her tummy was bloated out with fluids. The vet drain some fluid out and it had blood in it which was a bad sign. She seemed to have labored breathing which we thought was due to being pregnant but turns out it was a symptom bound to get worse as time progressed. He mentioned how we could put her through more test some antibiotics but was sure the outcome would come to the same end and it would not be pleasant to put Whiskers through all of that. We are all in shock here in our household several people thought for sure she was pregnant and so being new at this accepted that she was. Our house is not the same tonight for we are missing her cute tiny face and her funny little walk and throaty meow. In this photo my niece who is here visiting and who became Whiskers next best friend after my son Justin had gotten her her first official little plate to eat her meals off of. When she washed the plate the back of the plate said A Whiskers Bowl we were all surprised my niece had not noticed it when she bought it so it turned out to be extra special. We are so devastated she was warming up to us all and enjoying being in the house and with people. She was a people cat and her Cat Daddy my son Justin is devastated even more for he befriended her and and showed her love when she had none. RIP Whiskers You Were Loved ❤️
