Glaur

I took only one photograph today. This is it, a view of the University's Appleton Tower in George Square. It has emerged from behind months of scaffolding and dust sheeting in time for the new students to admire its glorious facade! There are windows there if you can see them through the glaur. The quickest way to unveil them might be to use a water cannon.

Having said goodbye to the Festival tourists, we are now inundated with fresh faced young students, moving in waves through the area, clutching their free Domino Pizza carrier bags and making the most of today's sun to sit on every available wall and eat the contents.
Things should quieten down next week when they are confined to the halls of learning.
