Grrrrrrrr

It was a fairly nice morning when I got up.

It was quite misty when we took the kids to school.

It was nice and sunny  when we finished shopping an hour later.
So I got the chance to try out my new hedge trimmer ........... so much better  and lighter than the old one.

I then went to go to the dump with the cuttings -- and got held up in a queue of traffic which took nearly 15 minutes to go 200 yards to the roundabout due to temporary lights (and 10 non working workmen) while they do 'minor resurfacing' (on one of the best bits of road surface in the area). The traffic was backed up out of sight on all 4 roads to the roundabout ... one of the busiest in Livingston.

I turned round and went home!
And sent off a stinking e-mail to the council.

After finishing looking after the monsters (and after working hours for the average British non worker) I headed off to the dump again.
Yes, the temporary light were away and cones moved ........ apart from those on the A71 which meant there was still only 1 lane open (instead of 3) which was still causing horrible hold-ups getting onto the roundabout.
But at least coming home was easy.
