It's All I've Got for Now

It seems with the onset of September I've entered a photographic and blipping dry spell, but I'm beginning to feel an ever-so-gentle tug to get back in the saddle. Luckily, Richard, armed with a shiny new smart phone was kind enough to capture our trio of cellos in the throes of performance. We are three highly compatible cello nerds and have been enjoying our weekly sessions sifting through Janey's vast collection of cello music (no exaggeration, this retired novelist (above, at right) has a huge collection of music for cello solo, duets, trios, quartets, you-name-it), talking about the music, and of course playing together and working up new pieces. 

In this photo, we might be in the midst of Trio #2 by Zoltan Kodaly, or working through one of the 20 variations of Vivaldi's La Folia.
