Autumn seems to have arrived suddenly this year. September mornings are cool and crisp and the quality of light has shifted. September evenings require sweaters and are perfect for walking arm in arm. Yes, summer has left and Autumn has shown up like an old friend you haven't seen for awhile, letting herself in and settling into your favorite chair with a cup of tea, commencing to tell you stories of all she's done since you were last together.
