On the Move

Bright and sunny but still very windy with gusts forecast up to 50 kph.

Today is the start of the move from our old room to the new one.

David who works at the Stadium is helping us to move with their tractor and trailer.

We have four Mats and 3 Handlers which hold two Mats each, plus assorted chairs, notice boards, trophy cabinets etc.   The Mats individually are very heavy and with two on one Handler the guys were debating how to manhandle them into the trailer.   After a little bit of head scratching, David got on the phone and sent for a guy from the Gym!   So instead of dismantling them all, they just lifted the front end onto the trailer, wheeled it on and then lifted the back end!   Of course, they are much younger and fitter than us!

We managed to move everything and get the floor swept and mopped in a couple of hours.
