Caen Hill Locks (Saturday 12th September 2015)

As I had visited the top end of the Caen Hill Flight a couple of times recently, this time as I was passing, I turned into Marsh Lane at the other end, with the locks rising to my right, and parked in a lay-by close to Marsh Lane Bridge. I headed off in the direction of Foxhanger Lock, facing the sun, and spent half an hour from 1900 hr observing the sun slowly set.

I took a set of pictures, using two Pentaxes with prime lenses and my Lumix with its 24-75 mm 135 equivalent. The Extra image was taken at 1905 hr and the blip at 1911 hr, nine minutes before the official sunset time.
