Caught in a web

MrM was keen to take me on a surprise walk as soon as I arrived home from work. Earlier in the day he'd passed a small river and watched lots sea trout jumping from the water as they travelled upstream to spawn. He'd thought it would make a good photo. And so it would but, unfortunately, by the time we got there this evening there was no sign of a sea trout! Never mind - it was good to get out, and as we walked back to the car I spotted this spider's web, hanging from a road sign, glistening in the sun.

To the local camera club this evening for an excellent illustrated talk about photographing tigers in the wild in India. Was considering joining the club but it all seems rather too serious, with competitions on one evening a month. Think I'd rather just take photos for fun (and blip) and just go to the open presentations...
