King Standing

This place is called King Standing because this is where Henry VIII used to watch the deer being rounded up for a kill . There is an ice cream van in the car park which seems to have a very strong magnet because I find am not able to drive by without stopping.

And this is the seat to which I could not persuade Mother to try out her new plaster and her wheelie Zimmer frame and walk 10 paces from the car to sit on and eat her ice cream.  Had to rescue her from the nursing home because she said she was climbing the walls.  She is not yet ready for a nursing home.
