Almost timeto light a match.

A great time this morning. With 18 friends from the Landscape Trust we had a two hour tour of the paper mill near home. It is a small Swedish owned mill which produces specialised papers mainly for medical purposes. It was fascinating and the speed at which the paper is produced is astonishing. Lots of impressive stats about power use etc. but the figure that impressed me most was that with 160 employees the annual staff turnover is 1%.

Seeing all that wood pulp reminded me that it is almost time to light up the wood burning stove. The picture shows two of our wood stores. The addition on the left was designed and made by Mrs. K. About a month ago.
