Glastonbury

After we picked Colin up from Dawlish we spent most of the rest of the day on the road. The drive back from Devon is normally uneventful and takes about three hours plus a break for coffee. Today the entire country decided to take to the M5, and bump into each other just to make life interesting. Luckily we broke up the long, long tedious journey by taking a detour to Glastonbury for coffee. We had a drink and wander round the town centre for an hour. The town still has its alternative shops and ageing hippies. The photo is of the ancient (1450'ish) pub The Greoge and the Pilgrim's Hotel. We didn't get to the Tor, nor did we look round the Abbey, you can't accuse us of being tourists ;-)
