We delayed out departure from Yakima by a day so we could attend an Eisenhower High School volleyball match. It has been more than five years since I found myself in a position like the head coach shown here, trying to fix problems on the court during a crucial league match. It was good to see he has lost none of his fire, even though I no longer sit next to him on the bench like I did for so many years. Great to see him again and catch up a little, great to watch some high level girls volleyball before we head back to our unique brand of Mexican volleyball on the outdoor courts of Zihua. Brings back twenty years of high school gym memories and countless timeouts just like this.
