Craftmanship

Over on Forvie Moor the creeping willows are playing host to the silken cocoons spun by caterpillars of some moth or other. They will provide a safe haven in which to pupate over the winter months.

As the son of a silk-spinner I have the  highest regard for the skill of these almost brainless caterpillars! The magic of evolution!
